Communication Committee
The Communication Committee of TAD aims to raise public awareness of Deaf issues through public policy, education, and activities. It keeps track of relevant legislative matters, informs TAD members and the public about developments, promotes coordination with other organizations, and presents issues to the Board for action. The committee also encourages Texas residents to join TAD, ensures regional information sharing, and submits activity reports to the Vice President.

The Deaf Texan (TDT) is one of the oldest, continuously published newsletters in Texas. The Deaf Texan is published free of charge to TAD members four (4) times a year: Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall, to keep TAD Members up-to-date with the latest news.

Disaster Relief Committee offers assistance to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Texan survivors who went through the natural disaster event. This committee is established to offer financial support to develop a future disaster relief fund for future survivors.
