Our Partnerships

Since 1883 the Texas Association of the Deaf has advocated, agitated, and litigated for the civil rights of Deaf and Hard of Hearing Texans. Believing in the American values of liberty and justice for all, TAD is constantly working with local and state officials to ensure that the rights of the Deaf community are protected. Through various outreach programs like their mental health awareness initiative TAD ensures that they are aware and can anticipate the current and future needs of their community. Simultaneously, their self-advocacy programs TAD works within the community to ensure the next generation of Deaf leaders are ready for the challenges to come.
